Shopping for tiles is, in many ways, difficult – we all want to get a good deal but we also want the best tiles we can afford to buy. But when it comes to tiles there is much more to a purchase than just cost and look.

We need to consider where the tiles will be installed and whether a particular tile is suitable for the job. If the area to be tiled is a busy hallway, a wet room or an external pool area our choice will have to be limited to tiles that are suitable for these areas to withstand high traffic or the elements (if they are outside). So when we buy tiles it is not as simple a decision as picking a style you like at a cost you can afford.
